The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guido Cambranes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 7 minutes, Wofgang Kopitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rinconadillas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wofgang Kopitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Federico Gil came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Tala's Feliberto Gergori. But to his dismay, Feliberto Gergori quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 12th minute, Wofgang Kopitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Feliberto Gergori fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tala's protests and gave Feliberto Gergori a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Tala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Gergori to maneuver through the defense. When Rinconadillas AFC's Guido Cambranes in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bernardino Chuan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Feliberto Gergori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Gil having to interfere. When Ercole Tolin fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tala's protests and gave Ercole Tolin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Ercole Tolin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Guido Cambranes came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Rinconadillas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Cambranes couldn't finish the play. Rinconadillas AFC's Federico Gil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Rinconadillas AFC from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the match, Rinconadillas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Abechuco came free, but Federico Gil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Antonio Goito fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rinconadillas AFC's protests and gave Antonio Goito a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tala booed when Rinconadillas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Goito didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The wind increased when Feliberto Gergori made the kick off in the second half. Bernardino Chuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Cambranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rinconadillas AFC's Federico Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Abechuco in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Tala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Abechuco to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tala's Feliberto Gergori got a free kick in the 61st minute. Federico Gil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Gergori, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Guido Cambranes might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardino Chuan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Cambranes ran back to his position shaking his head. Wofgang Kopitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardino Chuan. In the 72nd minute, Guido Cambranes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernardino Chuan. The goal made the score 2-2. Cristobal Ixaka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bernardino Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Rinconadillas AFC's Bernardino Chuan threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guido Cambranes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The corner ended in Cristobal Ixaka almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tala's Bernardino Chuan did a great save. After a rather tough play, Tala's Jacobo Abechuco got a free kick in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wofgang Kopitz got free with Bernardino Chuan in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, Rinconadillas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Gergori came free, but Federico Gil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rinconadillas AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luis Camerino was slow to take the kick. During this time Tala's players had a chance to rest. Wofgang Kopitz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Bernardino Chuan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Rinconadillas AFC booed when Tala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Camerino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rinconadillas AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
