A nice corner shot did that Froilan Loiola got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Claudio Romero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 94 minutes into the game, Ceres's Petre Bilașco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Romero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Ceres's Daniel Travassos got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ceres had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
