Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Petre Bilașco started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Rauf Erginay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Patricio Abeita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Petre Bilașco took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Natalio Guillelmo to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Ceres's Arkady Biber got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Rauf Erginay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Rauf Erginay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Verye's goalkeeper Natalio Guillelmo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petre Bilașco. The corner ended in Cirilo Tauro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Verye's Natalio Guillelmo did a great save. Patricio Abeita came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Verye's Rauf Erginay. But to his dismay, Rauf Erginay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 28th match minute, Ceres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Bilașco to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rauf Erginay in the 29th minute of play. Patricio Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fang Zhen Hao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rauf Erginay in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Abeita saved Ceres from getting behind. In the 35th minute Daniel Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Guillelmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Rauf Erginay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Rauf Erginay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ceres's Patricio Abeita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patricio Abeita came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Verye's Gavril Greblă. But to his dismay, Gavril Greblă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The audience was convinced that Rauf Erginay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Abeita was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Rauf Erginay made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Verye's Rauf Erginay dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Verye's Natalio Guillelmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Travassos in the 55th minute of play. Fang Zhen Hao struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Patricio Abeita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verye. Patricio Abeita made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Fang Zhen Hao sent off a good shot on target. Fang Zhen Hao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Patricio Abeita made a huge save. In the 63rd minute Gavril Greblă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustacio Joseph during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eustacio Joseph hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Natalio Guillelmo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petre Bilașco's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. A collision led to Verye getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Eustacio Joseph hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Froilan Loiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Guillelmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Guillelmo came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Ceres's Petre Bilașco. But to his dismay, Petre Bilașco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Patricio Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rauf Erginay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes Ceres got a freekick which was hit by Arkady Biber. The supporters of Verye booed when Ceres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Rauf Erginay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rauf Erginay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceres's Patricio Abeita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Ceres from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes in the game, Gavril Greblă fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Patricio Abeita having to interfere. Fang Zhen Hao's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patricio Abeita firmly grabbed it by the left post. Verye's Eustacio Joseph quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Froilan Loiola, made in the 89th minute of the game. Patricio Abeita made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Fang Zhen Hao sent off a good shot on target.
