After 10 played minutes, Boca Juniors's Naum Novoselski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximino Heli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boca Juniors reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Lucas Cristi managed to get in a good position for a shot. docpato's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Cristi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Bernaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of docpato booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Paskal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Naum Novoselski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Naum Novoselski to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, docpato's Baybora Kelim got a free kick in the 54th minute. Arturo Bernaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrik Kelm's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Arturo Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Abadia in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Casimiro Paskal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Henrik Kelm came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the docpato fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Kelm couldn't finish the play. Matias Indar struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Maximino Heli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. In the 75th minute, Henrik Kelm made a precise shot to the right of Arturo Bernaldo. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Casimiro Paskal hit a great ball. If Henrik Kelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matias Indar hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Lucas Cristi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. docpato had won after a very even match.
