The audience thought a goal was coming when Just Fontaine got free with Natalio Guillelmo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Poz in the 73rd minute of play forced Verye's goalkeeper Natalio Guillelmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, Verye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Joseph to maneuver through the defense. After 82 played minutes Oran f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Llin. 85 minutes into the match, Verye's goalkeeper Natalio Guillelmo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantino Poz. Oran f.c.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
