The tension between the Ichipuca and the Villalonga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bonifacio Lucian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Montrel in the 17th minute of the match. If Roque Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Lucian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Montrel in the 21st minute of play. But to his dismay, Anastasio Montrel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Silvio Loren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Silverio Horado made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Anastasio Montrel put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Bonifacio Lucian. Bonifacio Lucian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasio Montrel's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Villalonga FC's Astor Erauso got a free kick in the 39th minute. Villalonga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anastasio Montrel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The Ichipuca fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Ichipuca's Roque Dolfo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 59 played minutes Ichipuca got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Piorno. 64 minutes in the game, Paolo Belmiro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bonifacio Lucian having to interfere. Anastasio Montrel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Bonifacio Lucian skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 66 minutes, Julio Elixio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villalonga FC and the Ichipuca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julio Elixio kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Bonifacio Lucian stood somewhat misplaced when Anastasio Montrel came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 70 minute. Bonifacio Lucian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anastasio Montrel in the 74th minute. If Paolo Belmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Lucian made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Anastasio Montrel sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Villalonga FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Julio Elixio hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Villalonga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Montrel came free, but Bonifacio Lucian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Montrels short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Bonifacio Lucian to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 87 minutes, Candido Sedeni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ichipuca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Sedeni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvio Loren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Silverio Horado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silverio Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Mattin in the 92nd minute of the match. Silverio Horado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Orixe, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute Eliseo Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ichipuca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ichipuca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
