The Swizzle X fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Diagur should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Swizzle X's Rosendo Mel got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Arnulfo Txurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Eustacio Rameriz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Diagur. Swizzle X's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustacio Rameriz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 17 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Txurio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Diagur. Dalmacio Sedeni's late challenge caught a Swizzle X's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Atlanta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rich Osborn to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Colon hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, Atlanta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Rameriz to maneuver through the defense. Basilio Calvino took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Leobardo. Miguel Leobardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 30th minute, Arnulfo Txurio made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro Diagur. Swizzle X's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustacio Rameriz in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Diagur saved Swizzle X from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Txurio in the 36th minute of play forced Swizzle X's goalkeeper Alvaro Diagur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Leobardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basilio Calvino's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Atlanta FC's Miguel Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Calvino in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basilio Calvino to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Eustacio Rameriz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alvaro Diagur, 1-6. Swizzle X's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. 76 minutes into the game, Eustacio Rameriz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alvaro Diagur. Eustacio Rameriz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. Atlanta FC made a substitution. Astor Quinten replaced Rich Osborn. After 83 minutes, Arnulfo Txurio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlanta FC and the Swizzle X players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Atlanta FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Txurio. Miguel Leobardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Atlanta FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Honorato Conrao in the 89th minute. After taking down the ball on Atlanta FC's corner Honorato Conrao fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alvaro Diagur quite easily take care of the ball. Arnulfo Txurio came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alvaro Diagur could save by the left post. 94 minutes into the match, Swizzle X's goalkeeper Alvaro Diagur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustacio Rameriz. When Arnulfo Txurio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. When the match was over Atlanta FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Swizzle X throughout the match.
