When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Edelmiro Herrera took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alvaro Diagur to make any attempt to save it. Natalio Garaona's late challenge caught a Swizzle X's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natalio Garaona helped the player get up and apologised. Alvaro Diagur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Gora in the 14th minute of play. Alvaro Diagur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Herrera in the 15th minute of the match. Baldomiro Eguzki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basilio Calvino's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Elvio Bikendi took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomiro Eguzki. Baldomiro Eguzki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basilio Calvino in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Eguzki saved Club LUJAN from getting behind. After having played for 32 minutes, Elvio Bikendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swizzle X's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Bikendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Club LUJAN's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Calvino came free, but Baldomiro Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Gora in the 35th minute of play forced Swizzle X's goalkeeper Alvaro Diagur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Bikendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Baldomiro Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Eguzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Calvino in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Basilio Calvino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club LUJAN's Baldomiro Eguzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 53 minutes, Benjamin Orain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club LUJAN and the Swizzle X players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Swizzle X booed when Club LUJAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Orain didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute Gavino Birila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Calvino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Swizzle X's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Angel Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swizzle X's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Ihazintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Eguzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Joaquin Gora made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro Diagur. Swizzle X's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Baldomiro Eguzki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basilio Calvino's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Alvaro Diagur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Birila, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute Basilio Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Eguzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Elvio Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Matias Benvide fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club LUJAN's protests and gave Matias Benvide a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club LUJAN getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Matias Benvide hit a great ball. If Basilio Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Herrera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Alvaro Diagur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Swizzle X defense, Edelmiro Herrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Diagur. The Swizzle X fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Diagur should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club LUJAN had won after a very even match.
