In the 16th minute, Waragorn's Aristides Duarte ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcus Silva. Marcus Silva yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 18th minute Jimeno Gumaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Weather saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Jimeno Gumaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Weather. Waragorn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimeno Gumaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Igor Cordeara took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Silva. Marcus Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The supporters of Los Espinillos FC booed when Waragorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Izotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Los Espinillos FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Zula Munko hit a great ball. The supporters of Waragorn booed when Los Espinillos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Cordeara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Aristides Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waragorn's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the game, Armando Bastia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Espinillos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waragorn the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Armando Bastia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Silva made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Igor Cordeara sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute of the match Waragorn got a corner. Los Espinillos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aristides Duarte ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Aristides Duarte almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Espinillos FC's Marcus Silva did a great save. After 35 played minutes Los Espinillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Bastia. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimeno Gumaro in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Weather prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Cordeara in the 41st minute. Epifanio Izotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Espinillos FC's Marcus Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Duarte in the 45th minute of play. Ovidio Weather showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Gumaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Cordeara made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Izotz in the 54th minute of play forced Los Espinillos FC's goalkeeper Marcus Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Izotz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 58th minute Igor Cordeara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Bastia kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Epifanio Izotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Silva having to interfere. Ovidio Weather didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Marcus Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Izotz in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Epifanio Izotz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Jimeno Gumaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Weather. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waragorn's Ovidio Weather played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Gumaro in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Waragorn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Claudio Barrionuevo was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Espinillos FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Claudio Barrionuevo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Waragorn's Ovidio Weather did a great save. A hard shot 96 in the game by Jimeno Gumaro from a close distance when the talented Ovidio Weather managed to make a qualified save. Waragorn's players were relieved. Los Espinillos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
