Bar-Met's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Etxekopar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Osvaldo Bilbo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the A.D. Bar-Met fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Bilbo couldn't finish the play. Fausto Etxekopar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conrado Ilixo having to make a save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Veremundo was the one to do the kick off. Fausto Txartiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erubiel Solustiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Fausto Txartiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Ilixo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Erubiel Solustiano sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 57 minutes, Fausto Txartiko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D. Bar-Met's Humberto Cilio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Conrado Ilixo. Conrado Ilixo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. When Fausto Etxekopar came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the A.D. Bar-Met fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Etxekopar couldn't finish the play. Fausto Txartiko took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Ilixo. Conrado Ilixo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Bar-Met's Baldomiro Gauargi was substituted for Fausto Txartiko. When Inocencio Mikelar fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL FRANCIS ...'s protests and gave Inocencio Mikelar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, EL FRANCIS ...'s Inocencio Mikelar got a free kick in the 81st minute. Erubiel Solustiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Gauargi might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrado Ilixo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Ilixo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erubiel Solustiano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 86 minute of play. Fausto Etxekopar scored 0-10 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conrado Ilixo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A.D. Bar-Met's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
