RIP F.C's Romeo Romo got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Confesor hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Norberto Arotza notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of RIP F.C's Olgierd Winnicki. Olgierd Winnicki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruben Rameriz kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Norberto Arotza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Pico AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Allen Herbert hit a great ball. After some careless play in the RIP F.C defense, Norberto Arotza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olgierd Winnicki. The RIP F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olgierd Winnicki should have stopped the shot. Norberto Arotza took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olgierd Winnicki. Olgierd Winnicki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 46th minute, Norberto Arotza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norberto Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olgierd Winnicki having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Norberto Arotza made the kick off in the second half. Norberto Arotza hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pico AFC booed when RIP F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Norberto Arotza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, RIP F.C's Olgierd Winnicki got control of the ball when Sandro Coelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Pico AFC's Norberto Arotza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olgierd Winnicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of RIP F.C booed when Pico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Poz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Veto, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Pico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Rameriz came free, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Bemabe charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Bemabe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Pico AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Bemabe to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Norberto Arotza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pico AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Arotza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olgierd Winnicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ruben Rameriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Rameriz in the 94th minute of the match. The RIP F.C manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Pico AFC to win.
