Costel Enoaia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Ermegildo Ramond made a huge save. In the 7th minute, Fabricio Confesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Ramond made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Zayveon Pedraza sent off a good shot on target. When Costel Enoaia fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almería's protests and gave Costel Enoaia a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Almería's Costel Enoaia got a free kick in the 8th minute. Ermegildo Ramond was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Costel Enoaia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Costel Enoaia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of ALMAGRO booed when Almería was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Enoaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Facundo Altamirano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Behe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes ALMAGRO got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Garin. 24 minutes into the game, Costel Enoaia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ermegildo Ramond was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th play minute Costel Enoaia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ermegildo Ramond. 3-0. ALMAGRO's Ermegildo Ramond proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save ALMAGRO from getting a goal against them. ALMAGRO's Ermegildo Ramond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Bento in the 33rd minute of play. Ermegildo Ramond made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zayveon Pedraza in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, ALMAGRO's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Bento came free, but Ermegildo Ramond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Almería booed when ALMAGRO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Confesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Behe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. David Behe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Bento in the 54th minute of play forced ALMAGRO's goalkeeper Ermegildo Ramond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, David Behe managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALMAGRO's supporters rose to their feet, but David Behe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Facundo Altamirano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costel Enoaia scored 4-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermegildo Ramond, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Rolando Bento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ermegildo Ramond was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Rolando Bento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ermegildo Ramond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Ramond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 80th minute Costel Enoaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Ramond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Ramond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Enoaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermegildo Ramond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Enoaia in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, ALMAGRO's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio-Paul Caniggia came free, but Ermegildo Ramond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When David Behe came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the ALMAGRO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Behe couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, ALMAGRO's Fabricio Confesor got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by ALMAGRO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bonifacio Cedro was slow to take the kick. During this time Almería's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Bonifacio Cedro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ALMAGRO's Ermegildo Ramond did a great save. When the referee ended the match the Almería players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
