When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Christos Triantafyllou sped through Pico AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Triantafyllou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Granate's Christos Triantafyllou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 23rd match minute, Pico AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brennan Chute to maneuver through the defense. Lázaro Poz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Usko Ruuttu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Pico AFC's goalkeeper Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christos Triantafyllou. 39 minutes into the game, Christos Triantafyllou recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri. Christos Triantafyllou showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Donato Lorenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brennan Chute in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute of the match Pico AFC got a corner. Granate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Godfredo Blasco ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Pico AFC's Godfredo Blasco to fire away a dangerous shot which Donato Lorenz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norberto Arotza to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Norberto Arotza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Arotza came free, but Donato Lorenz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Adrio hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Donato Lorenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Arotza in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Triantafyllou in the 64th minute of play forced Pico AFC's goalkeeper Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norberto Arotza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donato Lorenz having to make a save. Pico AFC's Brennan Chute got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Christos Triantafyllou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Estevon in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Jonatan Adrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Syaiful Abidin in the 86th minute of play. Donato Lorenz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brennan Chute in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute Syaiful Abidin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Laskowski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match.
