In the 3rd minute Narciso Eyague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Narciso Eyague managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. C. A.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Eyague was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C. A. C. A. made a substitution. Nicasio Iratze replaced Zeledon Ebardo. After 22 played minutes C.A. Aplasta got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Baraquiel. A collision led to C.A. Aplasta getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Pascual Inocente hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as C. A. C. A.'s Rodolfo Cordario slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victorino Santana. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. After 31st play minutes Rodolfo Cordario shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Victorino Santana and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of C.A. Aplasta booed when C. A. C. A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Pietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicasio Iratze charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicasio Iratze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C.A. Aplasta booed when C. A. C. A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Iratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ovidio Nuñez fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. C. A.'s protests and gave Ovidio Nuñez a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes C. A. C. A. got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Nuñez. C. A. C. A.'s Mateo Gonza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Iraido in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Eyague to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Ramon Pietro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorino Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Narciso Eyague took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorino Santana. Victorino Santana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 66th match minute, C. A. C. A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Sanson to maneuver through the defense. In the 68thth minute Filomeno Baraquiel beautifully dribbled past C. A. C. A.'s defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Mateo Gonza pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. A well done corner resulted in Alfredo Colon drilling the ball in to score 5-1 behind C. A. C. A.'s goalkeeper. Victorino Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Cordario in the 74th minute of play. Victorino Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Eyague's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Pascual Inocente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Aplasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Inocente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascual Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Gonza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Inocente in the 92nd minute. Nicasio Iratze hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The C. A. C. A. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
