The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Serafino Cambranes made in the 3rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dionisio Marquez however managed to control. Dionisio Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Arce having to interfere. Hermengildo Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Isusko in the 6th minute of the match. Anchorena's Alfredo Ekhi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Anchorena from getting a goal against them. Serafino Cambranes made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dionisio Marquez however managed to control. 16 minutes into the game, C. A. C. A.'s Everardo Edur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Ekhi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 19th minute, Jonatan Chaime hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C. A. C. A.'s Gervasio Cordaro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alfredo Ekhi but with some difficulty. Everardo Edur hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of C. A. C. A.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Anchorena:s goal. Alfredo Ekhi made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Everardo Edur sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th match minute, Anchorena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Isusko to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Anchorena's goalkeeper Alfredo Ekhi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Edur. Alfredo Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Nuñez in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Gervasio Cordaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Ekhi. Anchorena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gervasio Cordaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Mateo Gonza kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Natalio Urti made in the 42nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Raimundo Domingues however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Isusko in the 43rd minute of play forced C. A. C. A.'s goalkeeper Hermengildo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, C. A. C. A.'s Everardo Edur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saverio Resto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Saverio Resto suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 55 minutes, Mateo Gonza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. C. A. and the Anchorena players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to C. A. C. A. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mateo Gonza hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Marquez in the 57th minute of play forced C. A. C. A.'s goalkeeper Hermengildo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hermengildo Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Edur in the 60th minute of play forced Anchorena's goalkeeper Alfredo Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of C. A. C. A. booed when Anchorena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Isusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Leonides Montez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anchorena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Montez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Edur in the 76th minute of play. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Serafino Cambranes with Jonatan Chaime as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 80 played minutes C. A. C. A. got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Urti. Anchorena's Alfredo Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Edur in the 82nd minute of play. Alfredo Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Edur in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Leonides Montez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermengildo Arce. C. A. C. A.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Montez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When Domingos Isusko was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Leonides Montez came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hermengildo Arce could save by the left post. After 97 played minutes C. A. C. A. got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Pancho. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C. A. C. A. had played much better football throughout.
