The supporters of Piratas FC booed when Nueva Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Bertran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Piratas FC got a corner. Nueva Chicago's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Czeslaw Bochynski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Piratas FC's Czeslaw Bochynski to fire away a dangerous shot which Cleto Telesforo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Mino came free, but Raimond Lenk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nueva Chicago's attentive Jeronimo Pelagius managed to snatch the ball when Cleto Onofre made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Damian Precioso kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Nueva Chicago were furious when Edelmiro Bertran was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Edelmiro Bertran hit a great ball. Czeslaw Bochynski struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Cleto Telesforo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piratas FC. 23 minutes into the game, Spyros Zacharioudakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cleto Telesforo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The corner led Piratas FC's Czeslaw Bochynski to fire away a dangerous shot which Cleto Telesforo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Piratas FC fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Piratas FC's Spyros Zacharioudakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th minute, Damian Precioso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piratas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Spyros Zacharioudakis made a kick off. 59 minutes in the game, Damian Precioso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cleto Telesforo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Mino in the 61st minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Raimond Lenk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Guter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimond Lenk having to interfere. Spyros Zacharioudakis came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cleto Telesforo could save by the left post. After 71 played minutes Piratas FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Rolado. Piratas FC's Gaspar Montxo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hector Mogel in the 73 minute of the game. After 82 played minutes Piratas FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Iztal. Teodoro Lamberto made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ciro Mino immediately put the ball in play. In the 86th minute, Teodoro Lamberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Lizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 90 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's Ciro Mino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimond Lenk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Teodoro Lamberto hit a great ball. Piratas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
