If Tadeo Quilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Quintin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Quilino, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The Atlético Matorrales fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Atlético Matorrales's Tadeo Quilino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Ambrosio Damario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ciriaco Quintin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ambrosio Damario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Leocadio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Claudio Birila made the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Tadeo Quilino made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Tibia y Peroné's Ciriaco Quintin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tadeo Quilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Quilino in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciriaco Quintin saved Tibia y Peroné from getting behind. Ciriaco Quintin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Quilino in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tadeo Quilino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Quintin was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
