In the 8th minute, Sauzal's Javier Stephen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonardo Salvino. Leonardo Salvino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Placido Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Leonardo Salvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Leonardo Salvino managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Sauzal's Javier Stephen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 23 minutes into the game, Edgard Gelacio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nirihau AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sauzal the free kick. Leonardo Salvino was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Javier Stephen. Leonardo Salvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Chorache in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Nirihau AFC's Prudencio Dantae made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adan Tello was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute Prudencio Dantae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Tello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Damian Selatse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nirihau AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sauzal the free kick. The supporters of Sauzal booed when Nirihau AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Selatse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Salvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Chorache in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prudencio Dantae to strike the kick off in the second half. Ivan Salbatore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Aureliano Gamus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Dantae in the 60th minute of play forced Sauzal's goalkeeper Adan Tello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes of play Sauzal's Ivan Salbatore was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Sauzal getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ivan Salbatore hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Sauzal's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Galoer came free, but Adan Tello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Sauzal defense, Ambrosio Txanton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adan Tello. The Sauzal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adan Tello should have stopped the shot. Javier Stephen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. A collision led to Sauzal getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Javier Stephen hit a great ball. Chants of Nirihau AFC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Sauzal had held the ball for most of the match.
