In the 56thth minute of the game Jawad Ashkanani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quilmes FC's Eusebio Berdoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teo Leocadio's late challenge caught a Genoa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teo Leocadio helped the player get up and apologised. Teo Leocadio kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Omar Christobal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute.
