The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, LEONES's Eusebio Berdoi threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iosif Stoicu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Guilherme de Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusebio Berdoi having to make a save. The supporters of Quilmes FC booed when LEONES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Roque Quintin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Aurken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Iosif Stoicu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eusebio Berdoi, 1-0. 23 minutes into the game, LEONES's Guilherme de Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusebio Berdoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 27th minute of the match, Iosif Stoicu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eusebio Berdoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Marcelino Jago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilmes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Jago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Aurken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the game, Iosif Stoicu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eusebio Berdoi. Iosif Stoicu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. If Roque Quintin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LEONES's Damaso Aurken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Jago in the 37th minute of play. Javier Abeita got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Damaso Aurken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Jago, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Marcelino Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Aurken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iosif Stoicu made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Roque Quintin made a precise shot to the right of Damaso Aurken. LEONES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Roque Quintin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Damaso Aurken firmly grabbed it by the left post. Eusebio Berdoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iosif Stoicu went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the game, Cristo Guillelmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LEONES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quilmes FC the free kick. The supporters of Quilmes FC booed when LEONES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Guillelmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Quilmes FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Roque Quintin hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Iosif Stoicu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusebio Berdoi. Quilmes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iosif Stoicu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Iosif Stoicu got in the 70th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Eusebio Berdoi handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Iosif Stoicu took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusebio Berdoi. Eusebio Berdoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. The supporters of Quilmes FC booed when LEONES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Stoicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, one of LEONES:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cristo Guillelmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Iosif Stoicu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LEONES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. Carolo Euloxu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Quilmes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Leocadio to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute, Quilmes FC's Marcelino Jago dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 9-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LEONES had played much better football throughout.
