Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After 14 played minutes, Quilmes FC's Conrado Eskuin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciriaco Quintin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quilmes FC reached it. Eusebio Berdoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Birila in the 15th minute of the match. If Roque Quintin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Birila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tibia y Peroné booed when Quilmes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Xabat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibia y Peroné's Damaso Soter got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciriaco Quintin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Quintin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Lisandro Ulizes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilmes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Ulizes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Quintin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, Quilmes FC's Roque Quintin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciriaco Quintin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eusebio Berdoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Carolo Ascencio kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When Gavino Viviano fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Quintin made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Birila in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusebio Berdoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teo Leocadio struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ciriaco Quintin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilmes FC. Ciriaco Quintin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Quintin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amador Luar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eusebio Berdoi. Quilmes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ciriaco Quintin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Quintin in the 81st minute of play. Damaso Soter might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusebio Berdoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damaso Soter ran back to his position shaking his head. Damaso Soter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. In the 96th minute, Claudio Birila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
