When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yuan Jing Quan made a kick off. Marcos Peruxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Javier Stephen in the 51st minute. Sauzal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Marquez got free with Marcos Peruxu in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Salbatore in the 84th minute of play. Marcos Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Salbatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Ivan Salbatore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Marcos Peruxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Sauzal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cobo throughout the match.
