Spectators: 7554 (Terracing: 5667, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Nirihau AFC's Prudencio Dantae started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Iosif Stoicu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Salvino. Nirihau AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iosif Stoicu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 8th minute, Iosif Stoicu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LEONES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Nirihau AFC's Pedro Foro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Damaso Aurken. That made the score 1-2 after 12 minutes of play. In the 19th minute Iosif Stoicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Salvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Iosif Stoicu put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Leonardo Salvino. After 23 minutes, Prudencio Dantae mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nirihau AFC and the LEONES players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nirihau AFC's Leonardo Salvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme de Souza in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Nirihau AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Euloxu came free, but Leonardo Salvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Prudencio Dantae managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nirihau AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Dantae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonardo Salvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iosif Stoicu's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Nirihau AFC's Pedro Foro got a free kick in the 37th minute. Leonardo Salvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Stoicu in the 39th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Flavio Rojelio put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Nirihau AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Flavio Rojelio hit a great ball. Carolo Euloxu, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The wind increased when Iosif Stoicu made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Nirihau AFC's Pedro Foro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damaso Aurken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led to Nirihau AFC's Pedro Foro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Nirihau AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Stoicu came free, but Leonardo Salvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul Kaxen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Iosif Stoicu put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Leonardo Salvino. Leonardo Salvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iosif Stoicu's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Leonardo Salvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Guillelmo in the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to Nirihau AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Prudencio Dantae hit a great ball. The long shot by Carolo Euloxu in the 81st minute really tested Leonardo Salvino's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Guilherme de Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Leonardo Salvino made a huge save. In the 84th minute Pedro Foro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Aurken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pedro Foro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Beti hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, LEONES's Iosif Stoicu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. The LEONES supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LEONES would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
