Mateo Udalaitz scored 1-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariusz Cholewa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Mateo Udalaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Udalaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariusz Cholewa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Pepote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eneko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Pes struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Mariusz Cholewa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. Maximino Behe's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Behe helped the player get up and apologised. Maximino Behe hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes Pepote FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Behe. Mariusz Cholewa came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Mateo Udalaitz. But to his dismay, Mateo Udalaitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Bernardo Polentzi had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Jonas Söderberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pepote FC's goalkeeper Mariusz Cholewa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonas Söderberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Pes to maneuver through the defense. Mariusz Cholewa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Ler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Aureliano Beti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pepote FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. Aureliano Beti kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Pepote FC's Cornelio Iyan was substituted for Aureliano Beti. 77 minutes into the match, Jonas Söderberg notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Boca Juniors's Bernardo Polentzi. Bernardo Polentzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 80 minutes, Adrian Cordarell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Cordarell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariusz Cholewa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Cordarell, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Mateo Udalaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Ernesto Fagildo could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Mariusz Cholewa however easily saved by the left post. Mateo Udalaitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariusz Cholewa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Udalaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Mateo Udalaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Boca Juniors had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
