Silver Play 2's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifacio Abecia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damazy Boruta got free with Cristian Sesuldo in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lima AFC's Cristian Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Francesco in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Bonifacio Abecia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodosio Francesco was the one to do the kick off. Franco Muñoz scored 2-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Sesuldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damazy Boruta in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Sesuldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute Franco Muñoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Lima AFC's Bonifacio Abecia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomás Lucila. Tomás Lucila yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. A collision led to Lima AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Modesto Paez hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Carlos Carrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Lima AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Pepillo to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Carlos Carrio notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Lima AFC's Cristian Sesuldo. Cristian Sesuldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
