If Damazy Boruta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Francesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Teodosio Francesco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Todo ROJO's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But to his dismay, Teodosio Francesco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Damazy Boruta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Damazy Boruta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Todo ROJO booed when Silver Play 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Baldovino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franco Muñoz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri. Todo ROJO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Teodosio Francesco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Silver Play 2's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodosio Francesco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Guillen couldn't finish the play. Isidro Rosalio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Silver Play 2 made a substitution. Carlos Carrio replaced Franco Muñoz. After a rather tough play, Todo ROJO's Isidro Rosalio got a free kick in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damazy Boruta got free with Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Todo ROJO's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Todo ROJO from getting a goal against them. The referee ignored Todo ROJO's protests and gave Jairo Jaunzuria a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Todo ROJO's Jairo Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 85th minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Silver Play 2 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
