After 11 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Urtats. Moreno AFC's Silvano Hustaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Moreno AFC from getting a goal against them. Silvano Hustaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Amor in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Florentino Perutxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st play minute Oso Ted came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Silvano Hustaz. 1-0. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Clemente Rodríguez with Zeledon Otoniel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 30th minute Conrado Ramone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikki Hejberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Saturnin came free, but Nikki Hejberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Santiago Saturnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikki Hejberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Nacional's Oso Ted dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Feliciano Orixe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Silvano Hustaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado Ramone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvano Hustaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Orixe in the 51st minute of play. Leon Sayveon's late challenge caught a Nacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Sayveon helped the player get up and apologised. When Remigio Donostia came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Donostia couldn't finish the play. Silvano Hustaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oso Ted went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Nacional were furious when Florentino Perutxo was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 60th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Perutxo to maneuver through the defense. Nikki Hejberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Ramone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Moreno AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Santiago Saturnin hit a great ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Oso Ted managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oso Ted was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oso Ted's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvano Hustaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Remigio Donostia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Moreno AFC's Silvano Hustaz didn't even have to move. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Remigio Donostia hit a great ball. Santiago Saturnin kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Marcelo Amor came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Amor couldn't finish the play. Silvano Hustaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oso Ted in the 88th minute of play. Silvano Hustaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oso Ted in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Oso Ted ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvano Hustaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nacional had won after a very even match.
