But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Basualdo couldn't finish the play. Erubiel Basualdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Norberto Bihar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andres Ieltxu charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Ieltxu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Emma AFC's Andres Ieltxu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Erubiel Basualdo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Emma AFC's Norberto Bihar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 30 played minutes Calchín FC got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Lapurdi. Norberto Bihar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Loreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Calchín FC's Mateo Tancredo got a free kick in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Calchín FC's zone, Benedicto Ospin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlie Saunders came out of the goal and Benedicto Ospin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Calchín FC's Higinio Lapurdi pulled a muscle in his leg after 50 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Dino during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 50 played minutes Emma AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Dino. Emma AFC's Norberto Bihar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Hartz in the 56th minute of play. Jaime Loreto hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Norberto Bihar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melquiades Lizar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 59 minute of play. Benedicto Ospin's late challenge caught a Calchín FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedicto Ospin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Emma AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Ospin to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Quinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Erubiel Basualdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Loreto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Norberto Bihar came out and tried to block the shot, but Jaime Loreto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 88th minute. Benedicto Ospin struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Charlie Saunders didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emma AFC. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Calchín FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
