Spectators: 7428 (Terracing: 5598, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 114) 4 minutes into the match, Matelavau's goalkeeper Aurelio Lluis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Oriche. In the 5th match minute, Ice Valley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Tancredo to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Norberto Joseph got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz made a precise shot to the right of Albino Abilio. Ice Valley FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albino Abilio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Candido Goizeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Sagrario, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 32 played minutes Ice Valley FC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Ado. Albino Abilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Joseph in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ice Valley FC's Justo Artizar got a free kick in the 34th minute. Aurelio Lluis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Estebano in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Estebano in the 36th minute of play forced Matelavau's goalkeeper Aurelio Lluis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Norberto Joseph got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albino Abilio. Ice Valley FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half Matelavau were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz made a kick off. A collision led to Matelavau getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lucas Hitzeder hit a great ball. Mario Sagrario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Lluis having to make a save. When Rogelio Tancredo fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ice Valley FC's protests and gave Rogelio Tancredo a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Ice Valley FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Tab. Albino Abilio made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz sent off a good shot on target. After 64 played minutes Matelavau got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Beti. After 69 played minutes Ice Valley FC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Ado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Artizar in the 71st minute of play forced Matelavau's goalkeeper Aurelio Lluis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 minutes of play Matelavau's Mauricio Beti was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mauricio Beti kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes, Ice Valley FC's Mario Sagrario shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aurelio Lluis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ice Valley FC reached it. If Norberto Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ice Valley FC's zone, Amancio Napier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Abilio came out of the goal and Amancio Napier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Lauro kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Aurelio Lluis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Estebano's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 98th minute, Amancio Napier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matelavau played a much better game than Ice Valley FC and deserved their victory. The Ice Valley FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
