Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz got the match started through his kick off. Saverio Argina kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matelavau's Aurelio Lluis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Demesio in the 7th minute of play. Faustino Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Napier, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Norberto Joseph came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Matelavau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Joseph couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cochrane FC's Faustino Rico. Faustino Rico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Matelavau's Norberto Joseph got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Raul Ondino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionisio Sansone struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Aurelio Lluis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cochrane FC. Saul Gaufred hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Rico saved Cochrane FC from getting behind. Norberto Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Faustino Rico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Joseph recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 played minutes, Matelavau's Candido Goizeder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Faustino Rico came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Matelavau reached it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Cochrane FC booed when Matelavau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz got free with Faustino Rico in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute, Norberto Joseph left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matelavau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Cochrane FC's Faustino Rico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Joseph in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Cochrane FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz came free, but Faustino Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Rico was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 65 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Demesio in the 68th minute of play forced Matelavau's goalkeeper Aurelio Lluis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz made a precise shot to the right of Faustino Rico. Cochrane FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After 77 played minutes Cochrane FC got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Cheche. In the 78th minute, Amancio Napier fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Faustino Rico, passed just outside the right post. Norberto Joseph scored 0-6 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Rico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Norberto Joseph took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Faustino Rico to make any attempt to save it. Enzo Ortzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Norberto Joseph managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matelavau's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Joseph was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Rico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionisio Sansone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Lluis having to interfere. The Cochrane FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Matelavau were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
