In the 12th minute, one of A. A. Unicornios:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for A. A. Unicornios. A. A. Unicornios's Bartolo Criston proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save A. A. Unicornios from getting a goal against them. Amancio Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bartolo Criston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Bartolo Criston to make any attempt to save it. In the 22nd minute, Candido Goizeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartolo Criston stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Aurelio Lluis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Chabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A. A. Unicornios's Bartolo Criston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of A. A. Unicornios's Bartolo Criston. Bartolo Criston was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bartolo Criston. Bartolo Criston made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz sent off a good shot on target. After 47 played minutes Matelavau got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Napier. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Norberto Joseph had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bartolo Criston. In the 64th minute, Norberto Joseph got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 65 played minutes A. A. Unicornios got a freekick which was hit by Albano Perico. 68 minutes into the match, A. A. Unicornios's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Napier came free, but Bartolo Criston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Erruki during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miguel Erruki kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Norberto Joseph sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and A. A. Unicornios's Bartolo Criston didn't even have to move. Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bartolo Criston. Bartolo Criston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Bartolo Criston was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. 86 minutes into the match, A. A. Unicornios's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz came free, but Bartolo Criston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, Matelavau's Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartolo Criston was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in A. A. Unicornios's zone, Enzo Ortzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Criston came out of the goal and Enzo Ortzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartolo Criston saved A. A. Unicornios from getting behind. There was no doubt that Matelavau were the better team. Matelavau's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
