In the 12th minute Jeronimo Irrintzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when BS AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Senon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Melquiades Bittor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fulgencio Valentine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Irrintzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Roberto Boni managed to get in a good position for a shot. BS AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Boni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Maldonado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anastasio Quintun kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeronimo Irrintzi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Tony Stuckens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adan Maldonado was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0.
