Freddy Quinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Dantel, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 89th minute, Patricio Onofre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 96th minute, Denis Basualdo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Estudiantil's Jonatan Selatse didn't even have to move. The Equipo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Estudiantil were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
