When Serafino Oriol came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Equipo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Oriol couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Santikurtz in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Quinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th match minute, Equipo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Ovando to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Justo Maureo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Freddy Quinto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Equipo FC's Epifanio Bermund got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 28 played minutes Equipo FC got a freekick which was hit by Candido Ovando. After 30 played minutes, poeta fc's Justo Maureo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Freddy Quinto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in poeta fc reached it. Bernardo Ortle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Quinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Serafino Oriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bernardo Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Maureo charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justo Maureo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Equipo FC booed when poeta fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Dalmai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Ovando in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in poeta fc's zone, Serafino Oriol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Dalmai came out of the goal and Serafino Oriol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Equipo FC's Epifanio Bermund managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Justo Maureo in the 47 minute of the game. In the 48th minute, Epifanio Bermund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Serafino Oriol made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Equipo FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ambrosio Cayo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Ignatius in the 64th minute of play forced poeta fc's goalkeeper Carlos Dalmai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, poeta fc's Hector Santikurtz got a free kick in the 66th minute. Hector Santikurtzs short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Freddy Quinto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Equipo FC's zone, Hector Santikurtz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Quinto came out of the goal and Hector Santikurtz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Candido Ovando charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Candido Ovando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Epifanio Bermund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Dalmai having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Oriol in the 82nd minute of play forced poeta fc's goalkeeper Carlos Dalmai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Freddy Quinto managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when poeta fc's Hector Santikurtz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 89th minute, Serafino Oriol made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Dalmai. poeta fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
