The supporters of Guandacol booed when Sarmiento de Junin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Spiridon Simitchiyski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38thth minute of the game Cristian Bixintxo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guandacol's Cayetano Emeterio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Bernardo Serapio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabio Emenon made a kick off. Cayetano Emeterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Bixintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After a rather tough play, Guandacol's Amancio Txanton got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Cayetano Emeterio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sarmiento de Junin's Cristian Bixintxo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guandacol's zone, Cristian Bixintxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Serapio got free with Robbie Boshuis in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
