Guo Fei Feng came out of the goal and Jean Paul Håland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Jean Paul Håland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guo Fei Feng was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 22ndth minute of the game David Masselin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newcastle United ARG's Marcelito Barovero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Newcastle United ARG booed when Elordi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brúnó Juhász didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Masselin in the 27th minute of play forced Newcastle United ARG's goalkeeper Marcelito Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Jean Paul Håland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Brúnó Juhász sped through Newcastle United ARG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelito Barovero. Marcelito Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brúnó Juhász in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 50 played minutes Elordi got a freekick which was hit by Santos Berart. Brúnó Juhász fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelito Barovero having to interfere. Jean Paul Håland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newcastle United ARG's goalkeeper Marcelito Barovero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If David Masselin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Sidro kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Marcelito Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Masselin in the 69th minute of the match. If Belmiro Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Newcastle United ARG getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jean Paul Håland hit a great ball. In the 83rd match minute, Newcastle United ARG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Paul Håland to maneuver through the defense. David Masselin's late challenge caught a Newcastle United ARG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Masselin helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Elordi got a freekick which was hit by David Masselin. 86 minutes into the match, Belmiro Arósio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guo Fei Feng. Elordi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Belmiro Arósio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Newcastle United ARG's Peter Parker was substituted for Belmiro Arósio. The supporters of Newcastle United ARG booed when Elordi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Sidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Newcastle United ARG had won after a very even match.
