Gerardo Florin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Miguel Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Salamon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Berbiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of GrondofiSu FC booed when JUVENTUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Delfino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in JUVENTUS's zone, Miguel Berbiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Salamon came out of the goal and Miguel Berbiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, GrondofiSu FC's Ruperto Platon got control of the ball when Zeledon Montes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of GrondofiSu FC booed when JUVENTUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to JUVENTUS getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Oscar Eli hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, JUVENTUS's Bruno Cordearo got a free kick in the 40th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Berbiz to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Gerardo Florin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Salamon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 54 minutes into the match, Miguel Berbiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Salamon. JUVENTUS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Berbiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After a rather tough play, JUVENTUS's Oscar Eli got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes in the game, Salvador Maldonado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Celso Salamon having to interfere. After 62 minutes JUVENTUS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gerardo Florin who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on GrondofiSu FC's corner Gerardo Florin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Celso Salamon quite easily take care of the ball. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind JUVENTUS's goalkeeper Celso Salamon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Florin got free with Celso Salamon in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerardo Florins short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Celso Salamon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. JUVENTUS's Celso Salamon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save JUVENTUS from getting a goal against them. Zeledon Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Platon having to interfere. Miguel Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
