Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 140) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Miguel Berbiz got the match started through his kick off. After 3rd play minutes Renato Mattei shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ruperto Platon and just under the crossbar into goal. Ruperto Platon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Mattei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carmine Oddi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruperto Platon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Severiano Ordono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Platon having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Miguel Berbiz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Patadura FC's Jano França. Jano França was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jano França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Berbiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Luisito Arnau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Mano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 31 played minutes GrondofiSu FC got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Laurendi. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GrondofiSu FC's goalkeeper Ruperto Platon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute Renato Mattei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Platon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Mattei in the 41st minute of play. If Gerardo Florin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 43 minutes into the game, Agustin Lizer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patadura FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GrondofiSu FC the free kick. After 43 played minutes Patadura FC got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Lizer. In the 47th minute Antonio Raitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Cristian Quintan made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmine Oddi in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Platon saved GrondofiSu FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine Oddi in the 53rd minute of play forced GrondofiSu FC's goalkeeper Ruperto Platon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, GrondofiSu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Raitin to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Arnau hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, GrondofiSu FC's Miguel Berbiz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jano França. Jano França yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. GrondofiSu FC's Ruperto Platon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Oddi in the 61st minute of play. Ruperto Platon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Mattei, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Berbiz in the 63rd minute of play forced Patadura FC's goalkeeper Jano França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Carmine Oddi made a precise shot to the right of Ruperto Platon. GrondofiSu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After 72 played minutes GrondofiSu FC got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Laurendi. After having played for 73 minutes, Cristian Quintan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patadura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Quintan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Patadura FC's Jano França got control of the ball when Antonio Raitin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Antonio Raitin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jano França. Antonio Raitin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. The corner led Patadura FC's Severiano Ordono to fire away a dangerous shot which Ruperto Platon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luisito Arnau hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Patadura FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GrondofiSu FC:s goal.
