Emanuel Pătran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Genzo Wakabayashi made a huge save. 8 minutes into the game, Justino Nicholas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unidos AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.COLON DE SANTA FE the free kick. The supporters of C.A.COLON DE SANTA FE booed when Unidos AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Nicholas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A.COLON DE SANTA FE's Godfredo Argina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Genzo Wakabayashi. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. In the 12th minute, Emanuel Pătran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice moves Emanuel Pătran could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Genzo Wakabayashi however easily saved by the left post. 30 minutes into the match, Unidos AC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Argina came free, but Genzo Wakabayashi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Unidos AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Nicholas to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, C.A.COLON DE SANTA FE's Genzo Wakabayashi threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Godfredo Argina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Genzo Wakabayashi managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when C.A.COLON DE SANTA FE's Emanuel Pătran fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eliseo Argider's late challenge caught a Unidos AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Argider helped the player get up and apologised. Unidos AC's Orlando Rufio was substituted for Melchor Blasco. After 45 played minutes C.A.COLON DE SANTA FE got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Argider. Jeremias Romo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulino Nabar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godfredo Argina made a kick off. With a little luck, C.A.COLON DE SANTA FE's Paulino Nabar got control of the ball when Aristides Honrio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Unidos AC's Aristides Honrio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulino Nabar. That made the score 3-1 after 53 minutes of play. If Godfredo Argina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Cefero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Nabar having to interfere. In the 64th minute Emanuel Pătran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genzo Wakabayashi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, C.A.COLON DE SANTA FE's Godfredo Argina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genzo Wakabayashi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. A collision led to Unidos AC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Rosendo Felo hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for C.A.COLON DE SANTA FE. Jonathan Fernandez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Genzo Wakabayashi. 5-1. Genzo Wakabayashi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Argina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genzo Wakabayashi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Pătran in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A.COLON DE SANTA FE had won after a very even match.
