When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Jonas Figueroa sped through Veliko Tarnovo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Saverio Guillen. Saverio Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Otsando, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When the match was over Rufián could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Veliko Tarnovo throughout the match.
