After a rather tough play, Tridente de Neptuno's Vinicio Refugio got a free kick in the 10th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Basilio Estebano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veliko Tarnovo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Estebano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Diegotxe kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Veliko Tarnovo getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ernesto Diegotxe hit a great ball. Tridente de Neptuno's Joaquin Arixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Estebano in the 31st minute of play. Basilio Estebano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Joaquin Arixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basilio Estebano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 37 played minutes Tridente de Neptuno got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Pietro. In the 38th minute, Basilio Estebano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 minutes, Camilo Iruinea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Veliko Tarnovo and the Tridente de Neptuno players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Veliko Tarnovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Iruinea to maneuver through the defense. If Constantino Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Basilio Estebano struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Joaquin Arixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veliko Tarnovo. The supporters of Tridente de Neptuno booed when Veliko Tarnovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juliusz Lewkowicz in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saverio Guillen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Basilio Estebano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Juliusz Lewkowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saverio Guillen was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Saverio Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Basilio Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Gonzalez hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The supporters of Tridente de Neptuno booed when Veliko Tarnovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Diegotxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Basilio Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Veliko Tarnovo's Leonides Mambru got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliusz Lewkowicz in the 88th minute of play forced Veliko Tarnovo's goalkeeper Saverio Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tridente de Neptuno's attentive Vinicio Refugio managed to snatch the ball when Cristobal Chumo made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. Constantino Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Veliko Tarnovo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tridente de Neptuno.
