After a rather tough play, Lafinur's Ramiro Beila got a free kick in the 16th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Figueroa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ramiro Beila hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Otsando might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Goyo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnulfo Otsando ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85thth minute of the game Benedicto Evangelista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lafinur's Eloy Goyo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramiro Beila charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Beila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lafinur getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ramiro Beila hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Otsando in the 88th minute of play forced Lafinur's goalkeeper Eloy Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arnulfo Otsando came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Rufián fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Otsando couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Benedicto Evangelista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eloy Goyo. Lafinur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Evangelista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Eloy Goyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Evangelista in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Rufián were the better team. Rufián's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
