Elias Leoiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ramon Gar lost his temper 6 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Elias Leoiar went to the wrong direction when Arnulfo Otsando was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After having played for 10 minutes, Gualterio Henrico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rufián's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Henrico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Rufián booed when Club Atlético Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Milio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Garaona in the 11th minute of play forced Club Atlético Palermo's goalkeeper Elias Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Figueroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Leoiar having to interfere. Arnulfo Otsando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Elias Leoiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregorio Seme during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gregorio Seme hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Serafin Garaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Leoiar. Club Atlético Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafin Garaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Angel Bordat fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rufián's protests and gave Angel Bordat a yellow card for diving instead. Angel Bordat hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Club Atlético Palermo's Benjamin Bermund shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fabian Timo but with some difficulty. Jonas Figueroa might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Leoiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Figueroa ran back to his position shaking his head. Elias Leoiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 30th minute, Florencio Oxarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnulfo Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Leoiar having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Jonas Figueroa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Leoiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Jonas Figueroa put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Elias Leoiar. Elias Leoiar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Etxekopar went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Figueroa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Jonas Figueroa notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Club Atlético Palermo's Elias Leoiar. Elias Leoiar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Serafin Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonas Figueroa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Leoiar having to make a save. Jonas Figueroas short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Elias Leoiar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arnulfo Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Leoiar having to interfere. Rufián's Benedicto Evangelista was substituted for Jonas Figueroa. Benedicto Evangelista struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Elias Leoiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rufián. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Benedicto Evangelista got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With his leg Elias Leoiar managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Rufián's Benedicto Evangelista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benedicto Evangelista had several of the Club Atlético Palermo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-11 score and a disappointed Elias Leoiar as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 97th minute, Benedicto Evangelista made a precise shot to the right of Elias Leoiar. Club Atlético Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. Rufián's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
