The supporters of Lafinur booed when Club Atlético Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Veto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Francisco Atarrabi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lafinur the free kick. Ramiro Beila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eloy Goyo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Florencio Milio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Goyo having to interfere. If Ramiro Beila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Palermo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benjamin Bermund in the 36th minute. A nice corner shot did that Benjamin Bermund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eloy Goyo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Francisco Atarrabi was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Ramiro Beila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Palermo's Elias Leoiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Oxarra to make the kick off. Club Atlético Palermo's Gregorio Seme got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Florencio Oxarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florencio Oxarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. It was beautiful to see Lafinur's Sebastian Olentzaro in action when he in the 68th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When Apolo Natanael fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lafinur's protests and gave Apolo Natanael a yellow card for diving instead. Apolo Natanael kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Sebastian Olentzaro charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Olentzaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Sebastian Olentzaro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. In the 80th minute, Sebastian Olentzaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Natanael hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Oxarra in the 83rd minute of play forced Lafinur's goalkeeper Eloy Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Beila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Leoiar having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lafinur players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atlético Palermo.
