When Cristian Bertran came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Cambaceres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Bertran couldn't finish the play. PI FC's Romulo Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Bertran in the 36th minute of play. Gregorio Palos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Juvenal, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Cristian Bertran sped through PI FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romulo Arce. 56 minutes into the game, PI FC's Camilo Bartolome nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregorio Palos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Camilo Bartolome might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Palos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camilo Bartolome ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Bartolome in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Palos saved Cambaceres from getting behind. Gregorio Palos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camilo Bartolome in the 62nd minute. Romulo Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Fidensio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Eguntsenti in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Arce saved PI FC from getting behind. 73 minutes in the game, Cristian Bertran dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jacobo Justin hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Romulo Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Fidensio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Gregorio Palos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 86th minute Eusebio Eguntsenti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
