In the 4th minute, Guaberto Jaunzuria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute, Lázaro Elixio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebio Mel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by BALLESTER F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tobias Cucao was slow to take the kick. During this time JERE F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. In the 17th minute Bonifacio Mazuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When JERE F.C.'s Bonifacio Mazuste in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BALLESTER F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th minute of the match JERE F.C. got a corner. BALLESTER F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobias Cucao ran over to the corner to take the kick. Danilo Vergaray was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Guaberto Jaunzuria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eusebio Mel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Mel came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by JERE F.C.'s Guaberto Jaunzuria. But to his dismay, Guaberto Jaunzuria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in BALLESTER F.C.'s zone, Guaberto Jaunzuria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Mel came out of the goal and Guaberto Jaunzuria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Cucao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Mel having to interfere. Eusebio Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Jaunzuria in the 45th minute of the match. The BALLESTER F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. JERE F.C. were winning 0-2.

In the 52nd minute, JERE F.C.'s Lázaro Elixio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. JERE F.C.'s Juan Carlos Olave played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Herensuge in the 56th minute of play. Juan Carlos Olave showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Ellande, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Guaberto Jaunzuria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69th play minutes Bonifacio Mazuste shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Eusebio Mel and just under the crossbar into goal. If Bonifacio Mazuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lázaro Elixio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eusebio Mel came out and tried to block the shot, but Lázaro Elixio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 78th minute. After 80 played minutes JERE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Abancens. Alfredo Maule got a throw-in 82 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Danilo Vergaray. Eusebio Mel made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Bonifacio Mazuste sent off a good shot on target. Guaberto Jaunzuria struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Eusebio Mel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JERE F.C.. Juan Carlos Olave took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Gudesteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, BALLESTER F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Jaunzuria came free, but Eusebio Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over JERE F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BALLESTER F.C. throughout the match.
