Ricardo Gaizkine came out of the goal and Maximino Cordera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Coyotes's Celedonio Gaitano was substituted for Americo Ieltxu. After 6 played minutes Chacarita Undertakers got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Fernandez. In the 8th minute, Coyotes's Rogelio Bemabe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rogelio Bemabe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Coyotes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rogelio Bemabe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Coyotes! Leandro Bernat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Guipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Coyotes's Natalio Baleren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Leandro Bernat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Romelio's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Natalio Baleren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Ricardo Gaizkine made a huge save. Mariano Satordi kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Alfredo Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Leandro Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Natalio Baleren made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Gaizkine. Chacarita Undertakers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, Chacarita Undertakers's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Cordera came free, but Ricardo Gaizkine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Cordera in the 46th minute of play forced Chacarita Undertakers's goalkeeper Ricardo Gaizkine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the game, Coyotes's Natalio Baleren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Gaizkine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Egoi was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Chacarita Undertakers's Cleto Guipuzkoa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leandro Bernat. That made the score 4-2 after 57 minutes of play. Natalio Baleren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ricardo Gaizkine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Cordera in the 64th minute of play forced Chacarita Undertakers's goalkeeper Ricardo Gaizkine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Natalio Baleren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coyotes's supporters rose to their feet, but Natalio Baleren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Gaizkine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luciano Pancho kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Genaro Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natalio Baleren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Gaizkine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. When Alfredo Benet fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita Undertakers's protests and gave Alfredo Benet a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredo Benet hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Maximino Cordera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes, Gabriel Kemen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coyotes and the Chacarita Undertakers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Coyotes got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Kemen. Chacarita Undertakers's Salvador Columbo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leandro Bernat but with some difficulty. If Maximino Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute.
