Florentino Weterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Vincent in the 7th minute of play. Danilo Vincent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filiberto Lucian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Cordarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florentino Weterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Vincent, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ermegildo Barea charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Barea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, Ermegildo Barea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes, Gaudencio Lazcano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOS HUITOS and the Sayaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gaudencio Lazcano kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ermegildo Barea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Florentino Weterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Sayaco's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Asur came free, but Filiberto Lucian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ariel Asur to strike the kick off in the second half. Filiberto Lucian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Goren in the 52nd minute of the match. LOS HUITOS's Florentino Weterio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save LOS HUITOS from getting a goal against them. Atilano Ariando kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Arturo Loramendi struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Filiberto Lucian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOS HUITOS. 60 minutes into the match, Sayaco's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Goito came free, but Filiberto Lucian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Barea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Florentino Weterio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute, Ariel Asur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOS HUITOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of LOS HUITOS booed when Sayaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Ariando didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 79 in the game by Ermegildo Barea from a close distance when the talented Florentino Weterio managed to make a qualified save. LOS HUITOS's players were relieved. After 81 played minutes LOS HUITOS got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Asur. There was no doubt that LOS HUITOS were the better team. LOS HUITOS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
