Eusebio Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Orti in the 3rd minute of the match. Romulo Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cândido Lamego in the 7th minute of play. BALLESTER F.C.'s Eusebio Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Quinteros in the 9th minute of play. With a little luck, PI FC's Romulo Arce got control of the ball when Felipe Herensuge tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Herensuge in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Arce saved PI FC from getting behind. If Jonas Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24thth minute of the game Eulalio Orti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BALLESTER F.C.'s Eusebio Mel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eusebio Mel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Quinteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Clemente Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Arce having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, PI FC's Mariano Quinteros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusebio Mel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

The wind increased when Eulalio Orti made the kick off in the second half. Romulo Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Herensuge in the 58th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Mariano Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Ladislao Eduino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PI FC made a substitution. Manuel Birila replaced Mariano Quinteros. The supporters of BALLESTER F.C. booed when PI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Eduino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Filomeno Juvenal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Orti in the 82nd minute of play forced BALLESTER F.C.'s goalkeeper Eusebio Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cândido Lamego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Romulo Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, PI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Herensuge came free, but Romulo Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of PI FC booed when BALLESTER F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Larra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Eulalio Orti managed to get in a good position for a shot. PI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Orti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebio Mel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th match minute, BALLESTER F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Larra to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Birila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Eusebio Mel made a huge save. The BALLESTER F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching PI FC's performance. The match ended with a win for PI FC.
