Marciano Cordarell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blas Guillem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Anibal Domeka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monteagudo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Andes FC the free kick. In the 9th minute, Anibal Domeka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Ubaldo Hernando elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Victoriano Ramirez took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliberto Refugio. Feliberto Refugio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marciano Cordarell in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blas Guillem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blas Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Soin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute of the match Monteagudo got a corner. Los Andes FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristobal Brion ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristobal Brion made a great header on Monteagudo's corner, it was just that Los Andes FC's Blas Guillem managed to reach the ball for a save. When Monteagudo's Marciano Cordarell in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Andes FC's goalie prevented a goal. Blas Guillem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marciano Cordarell's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Los Andes FC's zone, Anibal Domeka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Guillem came out of the goal and Anibal Domeka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marciano Cordarell took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blas Guillem. Blas Guillem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Marciano Cordarell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blas Guillem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marciano Cordarell in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blas Guillem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Marciano Cordarell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Guillem was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Blas Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Cordarell in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the game, Bernardo Senon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monteagudo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Andes FC the free kick. In the 48th minute, Bernardo Senon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 55 played minutes Los Andes FC got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Aires. In the 58th minute Marciano Cordarell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Cordarell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Blas Guillem when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Marciano Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blas Guillem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Domeka in the 65th minute of the match. Marciano Cordarell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Blas Guillem skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 73 in the game by Marciano Cordarell from a close distance when the talented Blas Guillem managed to make a qualified save. Los Andes FC's players were relieved. Los Andes FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Marciano Cordarell scored to the left of an out of position Blas Guillem, making the score, 2-3. In the 77th match minute, Monteagudo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Egun to maneuver through the defense. After 79 minutes, Edelmiro Aires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Andes FC and the Monteagudo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Los Andes FC got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Aires. Blas Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Cordarell, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Feliberto Refugio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Hernando in the 83rd minute of the match. Feliberto Refugio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Marciano Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Guillem having to interfere. Marciano Cordarell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Blas Guillem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Victoriano Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Los Andes FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Monteagudo's performance. The match ended with a win for Monteagudo.
